We have many popular favorites on our menu, and we are continually experimenting with new combinations and preparations to bring you an interesting variety of dishes made with raw, sprouted nuts and seeds; crisp, vibrant veggies; juicy fruits; powerful super foods; and flavorful herbs and spices.

 

Our food is all organic, vegan*, raw and FREE of wheat, dairy and gluten. We also strive to use only verified non-GMO ingredients and to support local, sustainable farms and suppliers. Our pricing reflects the quality of our ingredients and the labor-intensive nature of our menu.

 

We are a grab-and-go shop, so we do not have customer seating inside. There are public benches just outside our door and several outdoor tables just down the block on the corner of Broadway.

We choose a subset of items from our extensive menu to prepare each day.   

 

Our choice is based on the freshness and availability of ingredients, pre-orders, season and what we “predict” will be popular. 

 

You can follow us on Instagram where we will post our daily menu or just give us a call. 

 

We are happy to hold items for pickup during store hours, or after hours at Earthbeam Natural Foods (one door down and to the left of our storefront). We also stock a shelf in the refrigerator section at Earthbeam daily, so you can find our products there when we’re closed. We welcome pre-orders:

About

MEET CHEF & OWNER, KERRY BITNER

Kerry Bitner purchased Que SeRaw SeRaw in January of 2015. She is passionate about preparing raw, organic, plant-based food that is delicious and convenient, and she is excited to offer her customers healthy choices that taste great and help them feel great. She is also an advocate for shifting to a more plant-based diet because it’s more sustainable for the planet.

 

Kerry has been a nutrition enthusiast experimenting at home with raw food preparation for many years. She has taken classes with several leaders in the raw food movement including David Wolfe, Elaina Love and Victoria Butenko. She had a successful prior career as a television commercial and news producer and editor and is now applying her planning, logistics, and project management experience towards operating a thriving restaurant.

 

Kerry and her family moved to Burlingame in 2000, and as her children attended local pre-school and elementary schools, Kerry developed a deep appreciation for the community and has been an active volunteer supporting Burlingame public schools and other local non-profits. She is thrilled to be running her business five minutes from her home and looking forward to new opportunities to collaborate with and give back to the local community.

 

When she isn’t dreaming up new plant-based recipes, Kerry enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, practicing yoga, traveling, watching movies and gardening.

Que SeRaw SeRaw started out when founder Alicia Parnell learned about the benefits of a raw, vegan diet and began experimenting with recipes. She shared her food with the health practitioners and their clients at the Vitality Center she managed in San Mateo and soon developed an enthusiastic following.
