Our to-go containers may look clear, but they’re really very green.
Over the past several months, we have phased out all of our plastic recyclable containers and switched to certified compostable sushi trays, cups and lids, soup and salad containers, salad dressing cups, straws and utensils.
These containers are all made from renewable plant materials and designed to break down when composted in industrial facilities.
You can dispose of your containers in your commercial compost bin at home or if you don’t have that service, please consider bringing your container back to us or finding another commercial compost collection site.
Our ultimate goal is to reduce and eventually eliminate single use to go containers.
If you would like to use your own reusable containers for items you purchase at QSS, just call us at 650-348-7298 to place a pre-order and let us know. We will set aside your order and package it when you come in to pick up your order.
